WHY MAKE 'COUNT ME IN' CONTRIBUTIONS?
Diane Barnes
I find it very hard to express in a few words what this ministry has done for me. I completed BreakThrough in September, 1999. The change it made in my life was profound. I then started volunteering my time as a TA in 2001. As I had the privilege of standing in the training room and watching the changed lives and changed faces, especially in BT 2, I marveled at the gracious work of a loving heavenly Father that cared so much about each individual in that room. That Dr. Paul and Susanna would willingly put themselves on the frontline of combat for changed souls is remarkable.
While I don’t remember exactly when I started giving to HeartConnexion Ministries on a monthly basis, I know it has been for some years now. I felt like it was something I had to do because of all of the changed lives I saw and experienced. It was just an extension of the hard work I saw being done by trainees and workers alike in the training room. I didn’t want all the good I had seen being done to stop because of lack of funds. I still feel that way today.

HeartConnexion has been a tremendous lifeline for our family. Our daughter, Jennifer was the first to go thru, and the remainder of our family and extended family. At last count, 13 of our family have attended BreakThrough. It seems rather obvious that the ministry is very important in our lives. We are thankful for what the process has done in our family.
Sherry and I have also either paid for, or helped pay for close friends that were not able to pay for the training. Watching lives change is an amazing thing that just doesn’t seem to get old at all. We have felt strongly that there is a need at the ministry for folks to give beyond the necessities of simply going thru the process. Thus, we have given money along the way. It always seems so small vs. the need, but anything is more than what is there before we send money in.
Giving, at any economic level is amazing for the giver. Yes, the ministry can and does use the money to take care of the needs of the day, but I am a believer that we as givers are blessed. Please consider giving to HCM. I know, if you are reading this, either you or someone you know has been greatly affected by this ministry. You will ultimately be blessed for your giving.

I believe in the HCM. So much so that I sponsor someone when possible. But since that isn't always possible, I have an amount sent automatically from my account to HCM every month. My only regret is that it can't be more.
I would like to challenge all BT grads to think about giving to the ministry on a monthly bases. It doesn't have to be a lot. Just think if all the graduates of BT would give only $10 a month. Some might even be able to give more. I believe in this ministry and how it helps people to see that they are loved. I am blessed when I TA, but it is the fact the I am helping beyond a few days that has brought a deep since of being a part of something that is bigger than me.

BreakThrough changed our lives. We have been so blessed by our BT experience, we wanted to do our part in giving back.
BreakThrough breathes life and hope and does phenomenal work! We felt it was our responsibility to do our part to ensure that the program continues. Because of our personal circumstances and geography, we couldn't be TA's or volunteer our time easily, What we can do is make regular contributions.
Contributing to the program on a monthly basis, allows us to budget our support. We work, make money, and give some of it back to help others like we have been helped in this life. Also, from a purely selfish standpoint, we really want BT to continue its great work because we have so many people we are trying/praying to get through the Door. We want people to have the opportunity to love life and lived loved just like we discovered we could do.
We have been so blessed, we could not do less.

I have made two major life changing choices in my journey. One was to accept all that God has to offer me through His Son, Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Second was to attend the BreakThrough Seminar offered through HeartConnexion Ministries.
I believe I have a responsibility to 'pay it forward' and that is to share and encourage others with my BT experience as we're relating about daily challenges that we face and to financially support this ministry. I believe that by financially supporting HeartConnexion Ministries I am insuring that the life altering tools will be placed in the hands of those who find themselves ready and willing to walk through those doors.

It is a great feeling to be able to contribute to this life-changing ministry each month. I love knowing that my contribution to HeartConnexion Ministries is making a difference in the lives of people who are ready to take a step toward achieving their full potential and experiencing a truly satisfying, shame-free life.
I participated in Breakthrough more than five years ago and it continues to impact my life everyday. To me, Breakthrough is a rare vessel through which the Holy Spirit moves freely and powerfully to facilitate healing and wholeness in all who attend. Knowing that I have a part in helping to sustain that sort of ministry is extremely satisfying.
Each month I get to experience the joy that comes from knowing others will finally realize their dreams of a more healthy, balanced, and fulfilled life as a result of Breakthrough. It is a privilege and a blessing to contribute prayerfully and financially to this vital ministry.

I chose to make a regular contribution to pay it forward. My BT experience was priceless. I attended BT after my pastor and friend suggested it would be a life changing event. My husband of 26 years had decided to leave our marriage for a new life style. I was so devastated and lost I would have followed any suggestion to feel better. I made the call and agreed to go to session one. I was told that it would be worth the price.
There were so many "God" moments at that first session. I called my friends that had sent me. I was sure they had set me up and this was all staged for my benefit!!! That alone made me feel blessed to have loving friends but to realize that it was not their doing but Gods doing. I finished all 4 BT sessions. BT was worth every cent and more.
The first time the request was made that a small monthly could help with the ministry, I knew it was for me. I have always tithed but my BT donation is above my tithing. I pray my small donation will be able to keep the BT ministry alive and available for others that are paralyzed by fear and sadness as I once was.
